Oh, and going to have to buy a car as it's 5+ hours each way by train.

Any suggestions on cheap, comfortable, reliable contractor wheels welcome.

Made it to Sainsbury's with the fuel warning light on for the last couple of miles.

Bought myself a small (3 litre) cast iron casserole, for when I want to make small casseroles - dunno if it'll be better than the pan I use now, but it's worth a try

Back in the day, before the RR I used to drive a VW Passat CC. Cheap and very reliable. Excellent for long drives with 60+ mpg. Go for an automatic diesel.

Having said that, what is your budget?
