Shopping done. It's definitely a bit quieter in the big stores around half ten in the morning, though not as quiet as half ten at night.
The roads were almost entirely free of other drivers. Unfortunately, a load of people who could never justifiably have that appellation applied to them were out there in cars instead
I caught a bit of Woman's Hour on Radio 4. They had some woman on who had researched her family tree and discovered that one of her female ancestors had been born in a workhouse and died in a lunatic asylum. So, standard Tuesday morning Woman's Hour
