Dear god, how does one do this computing lark again... there's all these interfaces, funny bracket <T> things, MVC 4 stuff that's made all my previous work irrelevant... gah, I hate this stuff.
I might have to cheer myself up and cook something nice tonight.
See you've been cooking some nice things DaveB!If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Welcome Back!Originally posted by hyperD View PostAfternoon!
Back after an extremely long summer break of cycling, cooking, GF#1 and #2ing, motorbiking and now looking to get back into the contract market after a major letdown from client #1.
God, I hate computing. That's the conclusion I've been left with.
Still, off for pie and beer next week! Wooohooo!
How's you all been?
Assumed you found a GF#3 and needed some "alone" time to "bed in"

I assumed he found a GF#3, who then found out about GF#2 and GF#1 and he had to wait to be released from hospitalOriginally posted by Alias View PostWelcome Back!

Ta Alias!
No GF#3 thank god DaveB, although GF#1 has moved up to "slightly more serious" status and GF#2 as been demoted to "good drinking buddy and casual snog" status. Although that could be considered as a promotion to be honest.
GF#1 is in the process of moving to another rental although the option to (temporarily) stay at mine was on offer. I cooked her a stunning Thai/Chinese fusion dinner last week which she worryingly, as a former chef, said was one of the best meals she ever had.If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment
