Had a coffee with someone who interviewed me for a gig last year.
Nowt going at his gaff, but he asked me to give him my CV as he wants to recommend me to someone in another department.Comment

Well the wheels are in (slow) motion.
Cancelled meeting with bsc, telling them I need to speak with my line manger, line manager aint available till some time next week.
In the meantime having a discussion with his 2ic just to manage the situation.
Not discussing anything with bsc, as they will just go off half cocked and b*gger up everythingComment
