The Transmigration of Timothy Archer is moderately weird too.

And, of course, there's the 5 volumes of short stories.

      Plus the "normal" novels.

Which are moderately odd in their own way.

Following that brief flurry with the tape recorder.

I suppose I could add Sunday Monday etc. to the clock display.

That would help pass the time until 16:00.

Jolly good idea. How about a button that switches it between GMT & BST? Or a time-zone dial? Or changes it to a Japanese calendar?

There's a bit that does the BST/GMT switchover.

When I say "bit", I mean, of course, that they transmit a bit rather than there being a bit of code.

If you see what I mean.

In fact, I'm not sure that I see what I mean.

                  Still.

                  It is Friday.

                  POETS day.

And there's a mere 9 minutes to go.

I was looking at a chunk of code that I wrote for a data terminal a year or so ago.

                    Code:
                    call prnstrng
                    andlw 0xff

                    blah blah

                    prnstrng
                    addwf PCL,w

                    string dt "Sunday",0
and I couldn't understand htf it worked.

It appears that "dt" gives you a whole lot of

                    Code:
                    retlw 'S'
                    retlw 'u'
                    etc.
                    Amazing.

                    Or something.

                    And it does work.
