nope, done that already.
>10k steps done, would have been more but for Rita (little old lady) and her "very friendly" labradoodle, Sonny.
Sonny likes to run up to other dogs, barking at them, while jumping up and down.
Max, being a nervous dog, does not think that bigger dogs running at him, barking at him, and jumping up at him are actually "being friendly", but being quite scary.
Rita doesn't like calling Sonny back, and lacks any awareness that other dogs and their owners aren't particularly happy. She also does the old lady thing of standing in the most awkward of places. You want to go through a gate? She'll stop and stand in the gate.
Anyway, she took a couple of minutes to come through a gate today, could clearly see us approaching in. Once she got through, she stood just inside it, and made no attempt to move in any direction. All she had to do was keep walking in the direction she always goes, but no, she chooses to stop and block the gate.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Just dropped me little van off at garage for service and had a little wander round village. Nice gardens, wish mine was like them, I'm a lazy old git. Not much on rest of week. Took ll2 out twice last weekend, don't think I can put up with that again.bloggoth

Sunny start here, though it might get a bit cloudier later. Wind's still quite windy. Already 17°C and expected to reach 22° as we ramp up to a mini warm spell over the weekend and early next week. The barometers are up a bit more at 1012/1020mB

1019 mBar, 30.09 in Hg, 764.3 Torr, 14.779 psi, (down from 1020 last night), 63% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 5th of February 2020 BR14 posted a picture of a noddy suit and LM decided it should be laminated, whereas I watched "Capturing Enigma" having given up on the endless commentary on "ST: First Contact".
Freecell score: 88%, running average: 83%. Started badly but got betterer.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: the autism thing. Y&Y <click>. The drugs of hallucination thing at 13:45.

Minor potching with the family graves: how the feck do those bramble grow so quickly? It's only 6 months since I did it last & the damn things are yards long & extremely prickly.
The parents' and brother's grave is disgraceful. I pulled up some dandelions and various other weeds but the couch grass is taking over, along with the ever present and ever more irritating equisetum.
Tea: Tesco battered haddock etc. Nice enough.
Entertainment: TACOman's latest India tariffs.

Not much going on today. I have prepped my year end accounts and will email the necessary documents to my accountant at some point this week. I'll be interested to see if the CT liability calculated by FA matches his workings out.Comment

Lunch: chilli & lime chicken in a wholemeal bap, same as yesterday, as the chicken Needed to be Eaten™ - in fact, it expired yesterday, but it still seemed OK so I took a chance on it
I've started cleaning the hob, as part of the process of sorting the kitchen out. Makes a change to be getting something useful done

Hob reassembly, not so much
There's method in my indolence, though. It's not easy to reach all the nooks and crannies in the various bits such as the control knobs and the burner caps, so I've left them spread out to finish drying naturally. It's not as if I need the hob right this minute
I did wonder if I was going to be defeated by some of the worst burnt-on bits, it having been so long since it was last cleaned
But then I remembered The Pink Stuff™! Couple of minutes scrubbing with a few dollops of that on a non-stick scourer, and it was all sorted!
