The chap who moved out of number 50 6 months ago was down emptying the rest of the junk out of his garage. Had a nice chat & did the updation on the idle fecking Nephew & his posting whilst pissed thing. Apparently the new neighbours will arrive next week now the solicitors have managed to get their name right.
Shirts in off the line along with those of the cottons that had reached the required level of dryness (apart from one cotton twill shirt which had the sleeve tucked up inside itself) and duly iRoned (including the sleeve that was the very damp side of damp). All airing upstairs now.

I suppose I ought to vac the rest of the front bedroom, assuming I can find the energy to shift some of the stuff that's in there.

Rest of washing in off the line & the two things requiring the iRoned received its attention. All airing upstairs, or will be once I've reassembled the front bedroom again.
Feck me, some of that stuff is heavy. I'd forgotten how heavy a Philips 1500 VCR is, and the 1502 and 1700 are about the same weight.
Tea: beans on toast. Forgot the cheese. With 2 boiled eggs. Nice enough but not as good without the cheese.

A friend and I met at Casa do Frango near Borough Market, and then had a mooch around said market before tottering onto other places. A very fine day out indeed.
I splashed out on Taste the Difference ham this time, rather than the usual stuff which is what they used to sell on the deli counter before they closed that. Anyway, I couldn't really taste the difference
