    Morning all
Proper autumnal morning, a crisp 6C with clear skies. Even got to see the sun rise as we headed back towards home.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

      Morning.

      Tuesday.

      Dry.

      Hints of sunny.

      Frosty.

      Condensation on the windows.

Chilly in here at 14.6 deg, 13 deg in the kitchen, 11 deg in the leanto.

1035 mBar, 30.59 in Hg, 777.1 torr, 15.03 psi. (up from 1034 last night), 62% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 30th of November 2019 I watched BTVS S6, the one where she's in a mental institution and "it's all a dream, not reality". Quite sad. And I was coming down with "A Cold". . Yeah. Right. A Bat cold, was it? .

"They" are changing the phone line to fibre today so feck nose when this will be back on line especially if I need a new thingie to plug in, like.

Gosh. "They" are supposed to have sent me an ethernet cable. Just as well I had one I made 10 years ago. There is another one "somewhere" that's in my mind's eye but there's little chance of finding it in this tip.

No battery backup for the thingie so when the power's off no landline.

      Lunch: brunch.

Still sunny but seems to be clouding over a bit. Can't get over the highness of the high.

During the morning's faffing I seem to have twinged my back: note to self: that Mullard High Speed Valve Tester is heavy. And awkward.

      Walk (unabbreviated) walked.

Tea: Tesco battered haddock etc. Nice enough. Managed not to cook it to death this week.

Entertainment: PM <click> <click> stop talking about archfeckingbishops FFS <click>

Book. Other book. Reading the current J le C at 2 pages a time. Dunno why.

The Bad Skin Clinic. Unfortunate chap from Bradford with neurofibramatosis type 2: covered in tumours. Woman with dermatitis in her armpits. Chap with lipomas on his arms & legs.

      Shooter S1 E3, E4. More .338 goodness. Rather more effective than an AR15. .

But takes a damn sight more skill to use effectively. Especially cold bore. .

        Morning all, Glasgow calling

A right pea souper out there. Currently 4 degrees with a high of 7 expected. No rain forecast. According to my weather app, the barometer is at 1041 mBar.

Heading back down to London, having collected HWMBO, before jetting off over the pond to Seattle this afternoon.

I have that on my "to watch" list. I'll be picking it up when I get back

Much brighter down in London. Cloudy but with gaps. Currently 12 degrees and that's the high for the day. According to my weather app barometric pressure is at 1035 mBar.

Now in the Concord Room, awaiting our flight to Seattle which is scheduled to depart at 1500.

Been a long time since I've been in there. Has it changed much in the last few years?

Bet they don't have them in the Concorde Room

Quite a good day today. I finally resolved the issue I've been looking into, so I have something I can point to when asked what I've achieved during this two-week stint with the other team

And I'm now halfway through the working week, so just need to find some way to drag things out for another couple of days

Tea has been lamb steaks with chips and beans

Accompanied by the second part of Lucan

And preceded by a nice walk

Also today, the mundane laundry was done
