I ended up watching the Wham! documentary that recently aired on Netflix while investigating bugs that turned out to be user error.

          Very enjoyable.

The water supply has been restored

Interesting that I signed up to get SMS alerts from Severn Trent ages ago, and although they sent one to say a problem had been reported and then later one with an estimated completion time (6pm), they never sent one saying it was sorted (which it was by about half four). You'd think they'd want to let you know it was back, and maybe point out that they'd done it faster than expected

Ah, text just arrived from Severn Trent. They were probably just making sure it was fixed

Tea: chicken in red wine sauce with chips and peas

Nice evening out now. Several pigeons, magpies, and squirrels have been out doing their respective things on the big lawn and thereabouts

Reasonably good results for tonight's selection of opal hunters, including a British couple who seem to have left it a bit late to get started, considering they're doing so in the north

Then the Secrets of the London Underground were from Heathrow, including a bit so secret that they couldn't say where it was or show any external details of it, and Swiss Cottage, as well as a bit about the labyrinths

And finally one of the ones with a mixture of motorway cops and dashcam footage

                  Goodnight all

                    Morning denizens

Sunny start out, currently 13°C and soaring all the way to 23° this afternoon, while the barometers have moved further upwards to 1010/1017mB

It looks like it's going to be quite warm for the next week or so, presumably to get it out of the way ready for freezing gales and torrential rain over the Bank Holiday weekend

                      Morning.

                      Wednesday.

                      Dry.

                      Sunny.

                      Blue sky in parts.

Meanwhile on the 4th of July 2019 Diver had fabricated a leg hold down for his awning and saved a whole £17, whereas I was contemplating building a CF card to ISA interface for the XT to replace the HD, something that has not come to pass, wot a shock.

Lunch: scrambled egg and poached tomato on Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed toasted crust, bramble jelly & marmalade on slices of toast, 0.91*1.55 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Nice cup of tea even if I say so my self ((c) the very late Edith Shelley).

Entertainment: Y&Y waffling on about the inefficiency of SSE in dealing with the replacement of some meter tails on an installation. No tulip sherlock. .

Joy of Painting. particularly strong in this one despite the dry white canvas.
