Afternoon all!
It's been a busy old morning - lot's of youtube videos getting to grips with Microsoft Whiteboard.
I'm not sure that'll be a good idea for next week, but it could be a last resort kind of thing if it all goes up in smoke."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Lunch: ham, pea and lentil soup with wholemeal bread
It's looking very Simpsonesque out now
I forgot to record last night's trundling forth of the recycling bin. The bin folk seem to have started coming later again, as it hadn't been done when I popped down just before ten, but it had by about half eleven when meetings ended and I was able to pop down again. So that's been trundled back againComment

A rather black cloud is interrupting the afternoon sunshine. Blue sky surrounding it. A quick check of the forecast shows that the Met Office doesn't think it's going to deposit anything around these parts but the chance is not zero.Comment

Tea has been roast chicken leg with chips and lashings of ketchup
Sainsbury's didn't have any of the chicken thighs I wanted to make a casserole with, so I got legs instead. But I do like a roast chicken leg in its own right, and I couldn't be bothered to make a casserole
The car earlier was a Ford Escort Mk. II which they turned into a rally car. Currently taxed until next April, no MOT required. And the opal hunters generally seemed to do quite well this timeComment

Evening all

last day diving is done. Today’s sites were;
Pink Beach - absolutely shocking performance. Current was too strong and so gave up fighting it and drifted for the duration only to be face with the walk of shame back to where we’d parked the truck.
Invisibles - much more relaxed and went exactly according to plan.
Angel city - always a good 3rd dive as it’s relatively shallow and there’s plenty to explore.
Now diving is done it’s time to eat, drink and be merry, assuming we make it past 10pm.Comment

HWMBO is trying to get home. Left for the airport at 7pm. His 10pm flight is delayed with the gate not likely to be shown until midnight. He would have gotten to see the queen quicker at this rate.
To add insult to injury, the lounge closed at 10pm so he's having to slum it with the hoi polloi.
Meanwhile, I'm off to bed as I've an early start to get down to the parentals tomorrow following a sharp downturn in my Dad's condition.Comment

TFBSZ.
It appears The WifeTM and I have mixed up our holiday dates. Originally we were going away next week, then we changed to October., which is probably not happening now.
She’s taken next week off and just told me that she thought I had taken it off too.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
