    The car earlier was an Amphicar, a 1960s thing that's a car on land and a boat in the water. Very cool vehicle, although they should have checked out the gearbox more closely; then they wouldn't have broken down in the middle of the Thames and had to be towed ignominiously to shore due to having failed to replace a part that only cost about thirty quid once they did fix it

    It shows as SORN, but it was sold to a Dutchman who was taking it to the Netherlands, the natural environment for a car that can drive in water, so that would explain it

    Then later, the remainder of an old Police Interceptors that I didn't finish watching last night, and the most-recent-but-one episode of 24 Hours in A&E

    More rain came, though it's back to a light drizzle or possibly a hiatus right now. Shame, as I find the sound of rain quite restful as I go to sleep. But it's forecast to continue through the night and well into tomorrow morning
