Ran the remainder of Friday's joint of beef through the electric slicer, set to ultra-thin. So lunch has been a wholemeal bap stuffed with the results, and very nice too
There's shedloads of it still left though; about a pound and a half. Should last for a while

Traffic appears to be backing up a lot outside, particularly in the inside lane. I suspect this is related to the presence of a petrol station just up the road

Tea has been pork chops out of the Remoska, with chips, peas and gravy. Delicious
That was the last two of the chops I bought on the market a few weeks before lockdown started, so they've been in the freezer for about a year-and-a-half. Tasted OK though

Morning all
We had rain overnight! The first in weeks.
Managed to trash the blade boss and woodruff key on the main mower yesterday, replacements due in the next couple of days. Had a bonfire last night to get rid of some of the garden waste/cuttings that the tree surgeons didn't take, which burned well.
And now it's blue skies again.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
