Went off to the supermarket.

Supermarket busy but oddly every adult was wearing a mask. Clearly the area being in tier 2 has kicked people up the backside.

Loads of traffic on way back on my normal route, so went on a detour.

Finally replaced the battery in my mantlepiece clock.

The drilling has begun next door so it's time to do the dishes & go out in the windy afternoon.

Maybe I could collect more leaves off the lawn for a while.

Also discovered, whilst perusing the vintage wiireless site, Yet Another MSF Receiver Design, one which I was previously unaware.

Looks very simple.

Bet it won't work.

Most of these things seemed to be designed by people who lived within 100 miles of Rugby.

Now it's broadcast from Anthorn they don't work any more.

I've spent many happy hours playing with MSF receivers.

Most of them are crap.

Including ones I've designed myself.

After some veritable sunshine earlier, it's gone back to fairly overcast out there

But the promised 17°C has been delivered, which is nice as I need to pop up the chemist's for the monthly prescription. And that will also take care of getting the green ring closed if I take a suitably meandering route
