So in the end I just decided to rewatch Eye in the Sky (2015) as I knew I'd enjoyed it in the past, and it really is very good and definitely one of those films that people don't seem to talk about but is one of the best of its ilk, to the extent that it has an ilk

And then another episode of The Sopranos; it'll be S3E1 by my calculations, and involves a desk lamp

    Goodnight all

Did Helen Mirren keep her clothes on?

There was a time when that would have been a disappointment.

The 02:00 thing was a slight hyperbole, like.

          And

          I might just make 0:45.

They're currently playing "Saucerful of Secrets" so I've turned the sound down.

"Echoes", "Be careful with that Axe", I can cope with.

Saw this film sometime in the mid 70s in the Odeon in Swansea when it had one big feck off screen in premultiplex days.

IIRC I took my sister to see it.

We were unfamiliar with the pre DSOTM stuff so it came as a bit of a shock.

Oh, I can turn it up again, the unmelodious bit has finished.

Rather alarmingly, my hair is currently about as long as Richard Wright's is in this film, but rather more mullety.

          "One of these days".

          "Set the controls".

I was amused by how small the equipment truck was.

Not like the multiple artics of 20 years later.

And even with that comparatively modest set up they had to run special cables from the city to provide enough juice.

Stone me, 1971 is a looooong time ago now.

PF played the Afan Lido some time around then or a bit earlier.

pink floyd - Afan festival of progressive music 12-6-69

              1969. Even longer ago.

"Pulse" (now that would have blown the fuses at Pompeii)

              "Breathe".

"Time" (always used to test the tracking on high end vinyl LP turntables back in the day).

                  Ain't time cruel?

Clare Torry did some good stuff on that track.

Tea: spag bol with that wholemeal spag stuff, stewed pears and custard, 0.91 pints of Good Glengettie tea.

"Money". (never my favourite and it goes on a bit in this version).

                      "Us & Them".

                      "Any colour you like".

                      "Brain damage".

                      "Eclipse".

No mention of Chinese takeaways as yet.

                      "sorrow".

Come one, we want "Comfortably Numb".

Feck it: "keep on talking". WTF?

If we can't have Comfortably Numb then Learning to Fly would have been better.
