Mad Mrs Scruff went paddleboarding before sunrise, whilst I made a surprise visit to the Patisserie for her breakfast. Une tarte de ananas, coco et limon, et une tarte au poire avec caramel sel.
Trés bon, it was too....
Tomorrow is the long drive home, via Dijon - I suspect that the hotel that I booked is going to be a dump, but we shall see?

Another beautiful sunny day here, north of the border. Currently 14 degrees with a forecast high of 19 later. No precipitation expected.
My day off started with a romantic trip to IKEA. Arrived shortly after opening and there was a queue but not an onerous one. All required items acquired.
Getting said items into the car required the pulling forward of driver and passenger seats which made the drive back a little uncomfortable but it was only a 15 min journey.
Mrs Scruff went night-swimming in the ocean, on her own - quite Byronesque...and equally mad.
I used to do quite a bit of SCUBA diving when I was younger. The two things that I hated about this were 1) being on the surface and not being able to see what was eyeing you up for its lunch, and 2) night diving (see point 1).
