Morning all
The Dog (tw) was upset by something around 3am and all attempts to calm her failed. I brought her down to the lounge at about 4, closed the doors, and she calmed down about an hour ago.
Now she’s had a sleep, she wants a walk. The tiler is due at 9 to finish the bathroom.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Morning all
CBS and hot again.
Spent the evening watching films in the garden using the projector and screen, interspersed with retrieving Dog from the undergrowth to stop her molesting the hedgehog.
New hedgehog food put down last night, dry and crunchy rather than the semi moist stuff we'd been using. It didn't half make a racket eating it. From the general munching sounds and occasional grunts and squeaks I'm going to assume it approved of the change.
Todays garden job will be riggings up a hose from the water butt to the pond to make topping it up easier and quicker."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

For the record, last night's entertainment was Alien3 (1992), which isn't that bad really, at least in the extended version I watched; followed by Searching (2018), which I still think manages its conceit of everything happening on the screen of a computer very wellComment

Lunch: ham and lentil soup (Heinz), ham and mustard (English, end of pot) sandwich on Morrisons wholemeal sunflower and spelt bread, red corner yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Entertainment during lunch: the 3rd commentary on CSA: The Confederate States of America.
Inneresting enough though silent for much of the time leaving the Foley track in the background, which was a bit odd but there you go.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
