This week's QI was filmed in March without a studio audience.
I actually think it was funnier for some reason. I wonder if they tone it down a bit for an audience as they seemed actually more relaxed like a bunch of friends having a laugh down the pub.
The best bit was Holly Walsh not understanding something Jonny Vegas said, explaining "I'm from Surrey you see"Comment

In fact, it turned out to be a bowl of Heinz tomato soup with bread, because it was quick and easy to make and I like it
If I'm still peckish later, I'll have a bit of the apple tart I made a while ago, and mostly froze, with ice creamComment

And some other stuff later.
(continued): HSB S2 E6: "Cranky Streets" wherein stuff happens, a new recruit to the precinct beats a suspect, and things like that.
IIRC it doesn't end well.
There was a 5 minute extra regarding Belker & his genesis by Bruce Weitz.

I was wondering why, even though it was cooling down a lot outside, the temperature in the living room was hardly going down and the apparently vigorous breeze outside was going straight past the open windows without trying to come in at all
But then, after a trip to the kitchen for a drink after which I didn't close the living room door straight away, the airflow started, and I realised I needed the through draught to the kitchen window. I've made a point of keeping the living room door shut ever since somebody from the first floor back came banging on my door complaining about the noise, but I now realise that firstly that was about fourteen years ago, secondly it only happened once and I don't think she even lived here but was just visiting whoever lived in that flat then, and thirdly I was watching the Concert for Bangladesh DVD with the volume cranked up really loud; so it isn't the same people, they probably don't have her round right now or even know her, and I'm not making anything like as much noise. So I left the living room door open, and it's come down to 23° very quickly with the increased airflow
Anyway, leaving the subject of climate control, tonight's movie premiere was one of those films I've had the Blu-ray of sitting on the shelf for several years, having heard good things about it, but hadn't yet got around to watching: In Bruges (2008). An excellent film, and highly recommended should you be in a similar position
Turns out it was made (as in, both written and directed) by the same chap as that Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri that I greatly enjoyed the other week. He's clearly one to watch, should you be in the business of watching people who make films.
And after that, not a premiere but a rewatch of Accident Man (2018), which I learned from DaveB is based on a comic (or should it be graphic novel?) related to the 2000AD stable. I like this one; a substantial comic-book storyline at its base with lots of mayhem layered on top
