Mrs BP made a pineapple upside down cake a few days ago.Originally posted by ladymuck View PostThanks to NF's suggestion, I have made a cherry and almond cake.
Will see if that's more successful than last weekend's chocolate cake.

Just popped out the back. It’s cold and windy out there. Would not recommend ★☆☆☆☆
I’m thinking of making a chocolate sponge cake, should I find I have enough flour

Entertainment: Civilisation E8, which was a bit better being about Northern Europe rather than fecking Italy, so sans the fecking religious howling that takes over much of the previous episodes.
Up Pompeii S II E IV, amusing enough though the lack of Willy Rushton and Max Adrian is a disappointment.
Thing on BBC4 about Australian cinema had skin shots of Jenny Agutter all totally tasteful of course.

Tomorrow morning I’m off to “have a scan”.
This is what old people have.
I’ve only just turned 50!
As a result of said scan, I may need to have “a procedure”.
By next week, I suspect I might “have had a fall”.
I’m getting old. I can’t even hit a rat at 50 yards with a head torch and a lot of margaritas, tequila beer and wine put away.
I don’t even know where the rat got the torch and booze from.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
