Zoom call done
For the edification of my nieces, we got our parents reminiscing about VE Day. My mother said she went to a street party around the corner from where she lived in Woolton, absolutely hated it, and has had no interest in things like street parties ever since
She also managed to refer to Captain Tom (who lives not that far from them) as “Uncle Tom”Comment

Nah. That would assume some sort of competence, though HM might have twigged it.

It was bought to upgrade my already ancient 1100MHz Athlon back in the day.
The upgrade, needless to say, never got done.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 10 May 2020, 16:48.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Trip to Tesco and Morrisons done.
Everything washed down in warm soapy water.
Sufficient replenishment of Fairy Liquid accomplished to last at least 18 months.
No inneresting Heinz soups purchased since it mostly seems to be Tomato & fecking Basil my little piranha fish.
Back grumbling away again, I was staggering around as if I had something stuck where the sun don't shine.
More ibuprofen gel required.
Now to portion up the lamb's liver so it comes back out of the freezer in suitable portions.MarriedComment

Looking forward to watching a dumb ape make itself look ridiculous on TV. But until the Prime Minister comes on, I’ll carry on watching the highly intelligent individuals on Monkey Life insteadComment
