I popped my head round the door to check if they were sticking to the “online ordering only” thing they mentioned on Facebook a month or so ago, but they seemed to have completely forgotten about ever saying that, so I’ll amble down there later on and order at the counter just like in olden times

And so I did; and very nice it was, just like old times

They were curious to know how I’d managed during their closure, but I was able to reassure them that I hadn’t (yet) transferred my loyalties elsewhere, resorting instead to cookery

And they had a portion of spare ribs, from a mistaken order or one which hadn’t been collected or something, which was nearly cold and which they offered me as a free gift. I love ribs, even cold ones, so I gladly accepted

In fact I’ve stuck them in the fridge, as I’m quite full at the moment

Channel 4 showed the whole of season one of Spaced back to back last night. Just finished watching them all.

Next week they are doing Black Books.

Forgot to say, we watched a really nice film last night: The Lunchbox (2013) - IMDb

It's just a gentle film about a woman trying to inject a bit of romance into her life and it's all done via Tiffin boxes that are a huge thing in India.

Genuinely funny in parts.
