Just been out for a walk
Not far; a touch under a mile around the neighbourhood. Not much going on out there, apart from a few people finding it even easier to behave like idiots now they can do so just by standing around in the middle of the pavement

Much fun had with background tinkering in Teams. Will see what the boss comes up with for tomorrow morning's call. Sadly the key client won't be there as they're often up for a bit of silliness on the coffee catch up call.Comment

For tea tonight: chicken madras (Patak-flavoured) with rice and naan. Very tasty
Just popped out the back, and Venus is still shining brilliantly above the western horizon

Tea: more roast beef with carrots & onions, overdid the hot smoked paprika again
, yogurt, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Entertainment: Alistair Cooke's America:
E5 "Inventing a nation" or what you do once you've kicked the Brits and their fellow travellers out,
E6 "Gone West" or what happens when gold turns up in California,
E7 "A Firebell in the Night" the Civil War, and
E8 "Domesticating the Wilderness" starting with the Mormons, cowboys, Abilene, the Indian Wars.
It's much easier to watch than TAOM.
Never mentioned us burning the White House though.
<- wot the White House did.
When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Apart from some more of the Horizon about Corby whilst dining, tonight’s viewing was Quantum of Solace (2008). It’s not quite as good as Casino Royale; the story doesn’t seem to hang together quite as well, I thought, perhaps because it’s one of those that seems to jump about all over the place. But it’s still a lot better than some of them
Goodnight all
