Not much busier or quieter than it usually is at this time on a Thursday; I’d probably say quieter, based on spaces free in the car park.
No toilet roll, cleaning stuff, bread, milk, eggs, flour, butter, meat, or probably lots of other things. Some pet food left.
I didn’t want or need any of those at the moment anyway, so no problem
Plenty of in-store bakery bread, rolls, and so on. Also lots of cakes, which the people who bought all the flour will wish they’d bought instead when they realise they don’t know how to make cakes
Cheaper wines and beers sold out to some extent, but plenty of the good stuff left

In other shopping news, Iceland a few doors away has been closed for a complete refit, but opened again today. So I should still be able to get Greggs products for home baking even if marauding Mad Max-style gangs make it too iffy to go the the actual Greggs up the road
