Weather looks sunny out. Though only a tiny window. And looks like a cold night tonight - great for cycling at 5am.....Comment

Have you ever had "bad" Glengettie teaOriginally posted by DoctorStrangelove View Post
Home again Home again jiggety jig
Somehow it's managing to hail out of a blue sky.
Lunch: scrambled egg, poached tomato on Morrisons pumpkin seed whole grain toast. Will this loaf never end? Bramble jelly sarnie. 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
BR14 must be enjoying himself.

Sadly the Pret in T5 departures (the main one, not the one by gate A1) had no toasties at all. Ended up with a tuna wrap, which is not even remotely close to being a good substitute.Originally posted by ladymuck View PostOoh yum. I may have to get one of those. Used to be my hangover food

Trip down the dump in the sunshine done & dusted.
The accumulated detritus the idle feckers deposited out of their car windows has variously met the scrap metal skip and the bottle bank, with the odd bit of waste paper thrown in for good measure, plus a bag full of plastic bottles. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Currently listening to "Land of Hope & Glory" from a cd left in the car by Strangelove Pater all those years ago.
The cd player in the car no longer plays cds but it plays ok on the one up here.
Now we're on to "Jerusalem".
I must be a real
because I find them quite moving.
Sic Transit Gloria Mundi & all that.
Spent rescuing the world from the Germans* twice & the Japanese* once.

Non-stop action here as a pigeon flies down from next door’s chestnut tree into our front garden, then wanders around the gravel for a bit, pecking at odd bits in a desultory manner.Comment
