Dear Deity we'll never hear the end of it if they win the fecking thing.

In happier news, lunch today was the poached tomato and scrambled egg thing on Morrisons pumpkin seed toast that I do with monotonous regularity.

    It was very nice.

Followed, as is only rite and proper, by 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Which reminds me I need to buy more teabags*.

The afternoon will be occupied with a trip to the metropolis that is Swansea to see the new Shaun the Sheep movie.

*Only because one can no longer locate Glengettie leaf tea in the local emporia.
    When the fun stops, STOP.

England are Very tedious when they win something.
they're still banging on about some kick it and run game from 50 years ago.

Just back from 2+ hours volunteering in village clearing an overgrown footway by main road. Knackered but on plus side I found a £10 note.

            Hello all

Had a lovely evening out yesterday. A bit on the tired side today.

Currently at Charing Cross awaiting departure of the train to St Leonard's. Overcast but not cold here.

              Afternoon denizens

Though tomorrow at this “time”, it will be <checks time>… still afternoon. But it would have been morning if my mother hadn’t talked about Frodsham (a place I’ve never had any reason to be or care about) for so long on the phone

It’s rained through the night, it’s rained all morning, it’s raining now, and it’ll carry on raining for the rest of the day, it seems

I wonder why that made me think of this:

                YouTube

It's lightening up a bit here at long last and the rain has buggered off for a while.

Maybe they're right & the afternoon will turn out to be a bit finer.

In other news I've cleaned two pairs of shoes and my walking boots, these last look like they could do with some dubbin or whatever is the current stuff for waterproofing boots.

The spray on waterproofing stuff for the shoes didn't work this morning since my left foot is distinctly damp.

The little cat next door must be tulipting somewhere else coz the litter tray doesn't seem to have been used.

                Though it is rancid.

I wonder what I'm supposed to do with the old litter.

I may dump it down the bottom of their garden in what used to be Strangelove Pater's courgette/marrow/compost heap.

Cat litter is a tricky one to get rid of. The poo can contain parasitic nasties that can make one quite ill. When I had a cat, I used to double bag it and just include it in my weekly refuse for landfill.

Although if kitty is pooping elsewhere, maybe you can get rid of the tray together? They're only really needed for indoor cats

yes, - chuck it over into next door's garden.

that was a punch line from some ancient tv comedy sketch show i think?
