Just watching 24 hours in A&E where a kid banged his head on concrete and has a blood clot on the brain. Absolutely petrified of going in for surgery and seems convinced he's going to die. Being told that you risk death by not treating the clot and that one of the potential side effects of surgery is death is not good to hear!
Other TV viewing was a Natural World programme about the pangolin. Had to tick a snowflake warning box but can't say I saw anything terribly shocking.Last edited by ladymuck; 1 September 2019, 19:58.Comment

Following on from the Eastwood epic, today's 2nd feature is "Men with Brooms (2002)" which must be one of those rare things, a film about curling.
Men with Brooms (2002) - IMDb
Paul Gross, Leslie Nielsen.
It's vaguely amusing in a vaguely amusing sort of way.
It's got Leslie Nielsen in it which explains much of that.

Tea tonight has been breakfast: a lovely big fry-up, somewhat apple-themed with pork & apple sausages and applewood-smoked bacon in the mix. DeliciousComment

No telly tonight apart from the first bit of that thing about drugs in WWII whilst eating.

Morning all. Heading into the office today. Need to get last month's timesheets signed.
Cool start to the day with clear blue skies. Currently 9 degrees, forecast to reach 22.
Sat next to some girl on the tube who is very slowly making her way through her breakfast cereal. The smell of it is making me feel queasy.Comment
