Shows what a knife edge the electricity grid runs on.

            Ain't privatisation wunnerful?

Tea/dinner this evening was M&S battered haddock.

It was nice enough, followed by stewed blackberries and custard which was very nice.

The day's washing & trying seems to have ground to a satisfactory conclusion.

The evening's first entertainment was that nice Larry Olivier telling us about the joys of fighting the Nips in Burma.

No quarter asked and no quarter given.

"The World at War" It's a Lovely Day Tomorrow: Burma - 1942-1944 (TV Episode 1974) - IMDb

Now watching the Abandoned Engineering one about the viaduct in the Brazilian jungle going from nowhere to nowhere.

And the KGB prison in Estonia.

Cloudy out, in parts, and quite breezy, but we don’t seem to be getting much rain

The downstairs back are having smelly fish for tea. If the breeze carries the odour up and through my kitchen window, I may have to go into lockdown

Oh, and I’ve just finished Sunburst and Luminary. Very interesting read, overall
