I'm looking at a thing on Total Jobs at the moment for an electronics engineer thing somewhere in the wilds of Mid Glam.
Trouble is they seem to want someone who's au fait with pcb layout & gerber production which sort of includes me out, since I always had someone else to do that stuff.
I don't count the stuff I did in Ye Sloughe of Desponde since that was amateurville with knobs, bells & whistles on.
I suppose it might be worth a laugh just to see if they might be innerested.

Took ages the last time.
I use it because nothing can write back onto the floppy from this crap infested box. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

don't you upload your CV to the job sites? - then it's just 'apply' and the site does the rest.Originally posted by DoctorStrangelove View PostPlus the time for it to read the CV off the USB floppy drive.

I found my USB floppy drive recently. Plugged it into the iMac last night and tried four floppies that were lying around. Nothing of any interest on the three that could be read at all, unless a Win95 startup recovery disk is of any interestOriginally posted by DoctorStrangelove View PostPlus the time for it to read the CV off the USB floppy drive.

Blue skies and sunshine here, sausages on the BBQ, 1st load of washing on the line, father in London, do I:
A) open a bottle of home brew with lunch.
B) have lunch then walk dog to friend’s pub (will mean an 8-10 mile round trip)
C) do some gardening
D) something else…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
