Newport's a metropolis???

It's a traffic jam.

It's a tuliphole.

With the prospects of getting even worse now the M4 diversion route is cancelled.

The surprise is that it's a bigger tuliphole than Neath which is much more pleasant to walk around even though it's a tuliphole.

I didn't much like Newport at all.

Seems to have changed a bit since the glory days of 1979 when I was there last.

And the closer you get to the Passport office the worse it gets.

The contrast with Cardiff yesterday was quite striking.
