This evening's televisual epic was "Edge of Tomorrow (2014)" with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.

Edge of Tomorrow (2014) - IMDb

    It was suitably manic.

Cracking film, that - one of my favourites

Apparently a sequel is on the cards

Tonight's tea has been the second of the lamb shanks in red wine I made back in March, and it was absolutely delicious

Served with the rest of the potato wedges I made last week, or possibly the week before (they've been in the freezer) and petits pois.

Off to Japan for my fix of foreign cinema tonight, to wit, Rashômon (1950) by Kurosawa, in which a Samurai is murdered and his wife raped, but the accounts of the events given by those involved and various witnesses diverge wildly from each other. A bit weird, and beautifully shot.

          Goodnight all

                    Morning.

                    Dry.

                    Vaguely sunny.

                    Warmer side of notsocold.

                    Friday.
