    Not difficult.

    Use a DC link.

We've got a DC link to France, and there's another one from Scotland to North Wales.

Hence, being DC, it has zero frequency and doesn't require synchronising.

<hiatus just for the feckwhit meridian>

I found about the Scotland/North Wales link last week.

    <another hiatus>

Tea/dinner this evening was more of yesterday's roast beef.

    It was very nice.

The Archers is getting very traumatic.

I think I'll watch "Harvey" this evening with that James Stewart guy.

It serves to keep the post count down.

And thusly it proved to be:

        Harvey (1950) - IMDb

I don't think I've ever seen it before, just clips now & again.

It was very good, though I'm not sure people can barge into your home without a warrant.

There's some oik on BBC2 Wales waffling on about Edward II and all that.

Tea tonight has been Chinese leftovers, particularly that lemon chicken they offloaded onto me. There was a huge amount of lemon sauce, packaged separately from the chicken. So I refried the latter to get the batter crispy again, and used a tiny amount of the former, because using it all would have been like eating an entire jar of lemon curd in one sitting. Not at all bad, though I don't see it becoming a regular choice

The weather app says it's raining, but looking out the window says it's still dry. Hard to know what to believe

But once it does start, it will apparently continue pretty much unabated until late tomorrow afternoon

This evening's rewatch was Beverly Hills Cop (1984). Good fun, though the music which seemed so modern at the time now has a kind of retro-synth feel

            Goodnight all

                Morning denizens.

                It's tad breezy out there.

                And not the <pffft> kind.

                    Tried again.

We shall see wot transpires, if anything.

                    Morning, if such it be.

Wet, very very very wet with added wetness just in case the orginal wet wet wet wasn't quite wet enough, like.

Windy. Very very windy. First time I've seen waves on the river Neath.

                    Dark.

                    Dank.

                    Dreary.

                    Direly dreadful.

                    Depressing.

                    Misty. Very misty.

Other side of dock just visible.

                    Baglan invisible.

                    Margam, happily enough, totally invisible.

                    Sunless.

                    I enjoyed that one.

What I can't stand are the early 1980s Doctor Who eps where they've just bought the synth & have to use it for everyfeckingthing.

Usually in ear splitting pure tones.

Is it too early for "Bored. Now."?

We now have the wet to go with the windy.

And not because I followed through.

Dog is noticeably less keen to go for a walk. As in not keen at all. As in took one look out the door and ran and hid on her bed.

Although she does subscribe to the "If I can't see you, you can't see me" school of concealment, so hiding probably isn't the right word. More like sticking her head under her blanket and pretending she can't hear you.
