        WBR14S.

In other news, 2nd trip down the dump, followed by a really good bonfire.

Which has got rid of some really offensive crap left by the previous load of builders, a shedload of woodwormy wood (out of said shed), and the branches I chopped off the apple tree yesterday, and several big heaps of weeds.

Just to celebrate, I've washed the overalls, jeans, and shirt, all of which badly needed it.

And now it's time for The Archers.

Hopefully sans that obnoxious whining ex-teacher person.

Oh, and I've burned my thumb. Through a leather glove.

Just spoke to him on the phone, and he sounds OK, though he keeps having muscle spasms that pull on the broken bone

Definitely having surgery tomorrow, and they've already told him they'll be making him walk on Tuesday

In keeping with the 'year of the pie' <NF trademark>

Google is a bit odd at times. Searched for "definitive rights of way sussex" and page 5 is mostly about impotence and erectile disfunction.

Some of my searches render valid results far further down than that.

It's that Cobalt Thorium G, see.

Tea/dinner this evening was, in year of the pie mode, Heinz low sugar & salt baked beans (completely tasteless) on brown seeded toast, plus some Morrisons pork pie with embedded egg.

This evening's first feature was "2 Fast 2 Furious" which I got bored with after about 10 minutes.

Now watching "Abandoned Engineering" on "Yesterday" which is the usual mix of Nazi engineering and mildly daft stuff elsewhere.

The Nazi thing was a WWII destroyer that the evil Brits fecked thoroghly up a Norwegian fiiord.

The American thing was The Million $ Bridge in Alaska.

The Bulgarian thing was a communisst monument on the top of some mountain or other.

The final thing is the Bannerman Castle.

The season finale of the Oak Island nutjobs is on Blaze at 21:00.

This week they've found a large chunk of metal, another smaller chunk of metal, a bracket with 8 drill holes, a big washer (same size as the drill holes in the bracket) and a couple of nuts.

The caisson won't turn any more because it appears to be stuck.

They used a big feck off pile drivery thing to break through something.

They nearly got the hammer grab stuck underneath whatever the caisson is unable to cut through.

One's anticipation for the next series is almost, er, whatever.

Now watching the end of the thing of BBC4 about Polaris.

This being the nuclear tipped missile rather than the Pole Star.

For tea tonight: ribeye steak and chips, and extremely nice it was

Quite mild out for the time of year; around 8°C, apparently.
