    X55 home.

    Lovely copper coloured full moon rising.

    Managed not to howl too much.

    Tea, aka "dinner", was lentil <pffffft> soup followed by a Tesco Xmas pud with custard.

    This last boiled over just to piss me off, but it was all fine.

    <howl>

    And there's a small chance that Rich Hall's prog on R4 will be funny.

      Dinner <aka tea> has been texican style pork and beans.
      a suitable repast considering the cold, misty <normal> november weather today.
      watching BBC4 about the cockleshell heros in WWII.
      interesting

        Tonight's epics were "Tropic Thunder" with Ben Stiller et al, with a hiatus whilst "TBBT" ep was watched, followed by a bit of Panorama re the GRU and their business in Salisbury.

        Tropic Thunder (2008) - IMDb

        <hiatus>

        It was ok.

        Quite funny in parts.

        Filled an otherwise tedious hour and a half or so.

        I did notice that there was a short clip of the Wig Wearing War Criminal included in the above film, fighting one of our ex posters.

          For tea tonight: ribeye steak with fried onion, chips, and beans; and exceedingly nice it was

          And the recycling bin has been trundled forth in readiness for its big day tomorrow

            And tonight's major motion picture (rewatch) was Alien: Covenant (2017), a jolly tale of astronauts, robots, and monsters.

            Goodnight all

              FTFY.

              Morning.

              Dry after the downpour overnight.

              Grey.

              Dark.

              Misty.

              Sunless.

              Notsocold: 14 deg in the living room, 5.1 deg in the laundry room with a min of 3.6.

              But, best of all, it's Friday.

                      Glorious black & white, 1964.

                      It was rather good in a 1960s B&W sort of way..
                      This appears to be on Film4 this evening, in the event that anyone's interested.

                      I'm beginning to think that someone's taking note of the films I watch.
