I do wonder what people eat to get the sort of consistency which seems to be water resistant.Originally posted by covbob View PostAfternoon all

In today's shock news, someone has defiled my favourite trap at ClientCo. Somehow they've not just left skidmarks but actual lumps on the porcelain. To make it more bizarre it's on the side, as if they were using it sidesaddle...Comment

Sorely tempted by the new MacBook Air. But top of the range, fully expanded with 16GB RAM and 1.5TB SSD is £2,579… maybe I should wait and see if ExClientCo still want me back when the agency tie-in period runs out in a couple of weeks

Or just stick it on my credit card and hope for the best Comment

The earlier predicition that the laundry room would get colder proved correct: 0.7 deg min. for today.

Caught the 58 home having failed to be switched on enough to catch the preceding T6, which was mostly empty.

The 58 was full & got fuller.

And it was slow and got slower.

 Ho very hum.

Left "work" at 1705 ish & got home at 20 past fecking 6.

To make matters worse, the X55 must have been following close behind because it overtook the 58 just to irritate me even more.

Tea was breaded haddock, followed by stewed prunes & custard.

 It was all ok.

Once I've done the dishes and had a shower (cold, real hard, me), it'll be time to sit down & watch a film.

I suspect "Body of Lies" will get the vote, since I've just discovered I have the required 3 copies of this. Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 30 October 2018, 19:34.When the fun stops, STOP. Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 30 October 2018, 19:34.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

The puddles on the car park in work were frozen this morning.

It's going to be a long hard winter.

Time to find the electric blanket.

 Oh.

I found it about 3 week ago when I couldn't get my feet warm due to this endless fecking lurgy.

Contrary to earlier reports, "Body of Lies" didn't make the cut, it's an ep of Taggart instead: "Dead Ringer" with Mark McManus & that geezer that ended up in BTVS or Angel.

I need to find mine, too. I suspect it's under assorted junk that should probably be thrown away, over in the far corner of the bedroomOriginally posted by DoctorStrangelove View PostThe puddles on the car park in work were frozen this morning.

I've got Edge of Darkness kicking about the place, which is of a similar vintage. I want to watch it before watching the more recent film version with Mel Gibson and Ray Winstone, so I can say the original was betterOriginally posted by DoctorStrangelove View PostContrary to earlier reports, "Body of Lies" didn't make the cut, it's an ep of Taggart instead: "Dead Ringer" with Mark McManus & that geezer that ended up in BTVS or Angel.
