Tea, this evening, was more of yesterday's roast lamb.

            It was ok.

Everything being sans salt is not making my day.

Bland bland bland with added bland in case the existing bland wasn't bland enough.

It was followed by some poached pears, now they're finally riipe, with the obligatory custard.

            Best part of the meal.

Entertainment was provided by "Around the Bend" with Michael Caine & Christopher Walken.

Around the Bend (2004) - IMDb

No one got killed and it was quite enjoyable in a very strange sort of way.

Mr Caine lasted almost as long as he does in "Children of Men", but exits stage left for somewhat different reasons.

The dvd looks as if it's one of those they make on demand.

Alternatively it's a very good bootleg.

Couldn't make some of the special features work which is usually a sign of a bootleg.

            TFBSZ.

I'm beginning to think that I'm not going to make it to July.

            Ho very hum.

Then again, it's £500/yr on the pension.

            Swings & roundabouts.

Just keep on oiling the AK.

            The CHCFC was around today.

Happily I didn't see him & he didn't see me.

Tonight's repast was a roast chicken dinner, which I didn't make yesterday because of having the chicken casserole to eat. Very nice, it was; I hadn't really realised when I bought it but the chicken was rather large - about 4½ pounds - so there was plenty of it

It's raining out, but I suspect it's just a shower. It's stopping it from getting too chilly, though

No TV of any note watched tonight; just some thing with fire and rescue people burbling away in the background as I ate dinner. Early night, by my standards, now.

                Goodnight all

Another day at the funny farm.

                  Deep & abiding joy.

Grey as grey can be if not a bit greyer.

Seems strange to think that the water in the dock looked blue last Friday.

                  Now it's grey.

                  Misty.

                  NotSoCold.

Temperature in laundry room was about 11, with a min of 9.6ish, but that might relate to yesterday.

Big meeting today ... think it may be time to move on

well it's been ten years or so

other than that low scudding cloud is bringing some rain to Manchester - but can see some blue sky above it.

                    Happy Tuesday.
