I'm quite pleased that I've now got sufficiently into the habit of having fruit for breakfast that I miss it if I've run out

For many years I never had anything other than coffee for breakfast, and even after I started eating in the morning it'd often just be biscuits

I still go for the Full English when in a hotel though, of course

Morning!

In the effort of security I didn’t tell anyone I was on holiday, so I’ve mainly been modding from a hotel in Tenerife this week and am writing this from my bed at home after a late and rather traumatic trip home.
This involved a rather loud and censorious exclamation of ‘Where’s. The. Fecking. Car???’ after the chaps at a Manchester Car Parking facility returned empty-handed after looking for keys and said car...

We got in at 8.00 this morning...

Pretty well really.

All I've been watching on it over the summer was "Elementary" which got to ep 16 before the card died.

To be honest I couldn't get the box to stop breaking up on Sky Living for whatever reason.

The card dying was the end of it.

£33/month for 1 programme seemed a tad expensive.

I seem to watch dvds these days, which mostly come without adverts.


Whilst the vertical isn't too bad today I still feel rather odd.

But the bedding has been washed, to give the Logik machine sommat to do, and my ancient cords and almost as ancient religious jumpers likewise.

Lunch was a 4 egg scramble, said eggs being BBE May, followed by stewed blackberries and custard.

Said stewed blackberries were in a saucepan that caught & it's not done the flavour any favours.
