It's not showing any signs of buggering off anytime soon.

Can just about seen the other side of the King's Dock at the moment.

The side with the scrap metal processing facility.

In an attempt to ventilate this tuliphole a bit, I've propped the doors to my office open which is giving a bit of through draught.

Can't keep the windows in the little lab open because the wind keeps blowing them shut again.

        Hear hear.

I was looking forward to visiting CUK. Then I realized Monday is passed. So I went to the news sites. Thought about visiting CUK. Decided I would be better off reading the DM. Then was about to visit CUK when I realized commenting on DM articles would be less painful.

Finally I had to visit CUK as it was that or f**k all.

        God CUK has gone downhill.

Had my mum on the phone, who casually mentioned that there were some old tree stumps that have been in the garden for years and, thanks to the long hot summer having dried them out thoroughly, my dad has managed to pry them out with a crowbar.

He's 86 and has had five heart attacks

Interesting article. I passed onto a friend who let her student submit work late. Then got the blame.....

                  Good innit.

                  We've had similar chancers.

                  19 days late & 12%.

Sorry sunshine, which part of 40% and in on time or a week late did you not understand.

Today's ship is Friwave, which is unloading timber.

It's been all around the country:

And there's a lot of it.

                  Louis is still docked.

                  The Louis sailed from Portugal.

There's another z******* but I can't make out the rest of the name.

                    Sausages on rolls for lunch

Still quite pleasant here, at 21°C outside and 23°C within

It didn't rain on me on the way home.

It was vaguely & indifferently sunnyish in Swansea.

Grey as grey can be in Neath.

The X55 bus was on time or as near as damn it.

Appointment made with Doctor for next Thursday.

Appointment made for flu jab on 10th October.

                      All deeply joyful.
