    And another night survived.

As advised by the interweb, slept mostly upright, which has reminded me that I've had to do this in the past on occasion.

Thankfully the world wasn't rotating when I woke this morning.

Considering how much I've slept over the last 48 hours or so, it was quite a good night's sleep too.

Temperature in here is 19 deg, with a min of 15.5 in the laundry room, currently in 16.3 there.

Oh, and the endless drizzle has begun again.

    So no lawn mowing today.

    <hiatus>

Off down the dump shortly, followed by Tesco, Lidl, & Morrisons.

Having failed to get as far as Neath yesterday, the freezer has yielded some stewing steak which will provide a couple of meals this week.

Still feeling slightly odd, but that's nothing particularly new.

It'll be interesting to see if I can drive.

I have a feeling that the jerkiness of the bus isn't helping matters much.

    < another hiatus >

    Dump visited.

There was an oik taking note of number plates for some reason.

Probably to catch evil interlopers from that Swansea.

    Then off to Tesco.

Oddly I felt worse pushing the trolley around than I did when I was driving.

    Whatever that indicates.

Then on to Morrisons, giving Lidl(tm) a miss this week.

The dinner is on & the veg are prepared, so it's nearly time for the weekly vac.

Maybe I'll wait until "Just a Minute" is on.

      Morning all
A bit overcast here, but a nice dog walk, none the less.

        Afternoon denizens

Patchy cloud here; more cloud than sun overall, but it's very mild

Drizzle turned into deluge just in time for my shopping trip.

          Lunch done & dusted.

The stewing steak really was stewing steak, but otherwise it was all ok.

Vaguely vacced upstairs, will vacc downstairs once the dishes are done.

Bray's Cottage pork pie for lunch

I've got one left, so I've stuck that in the freezer for a rainy day. No point getting pied out

I now need to make myself presentable for the short walk to the Amazon Locker, where a book on SVG awaits.

On the way, I'll be able to check in on these remarkable fungi, which I only noticed the other day:

At a (semi-educated) guess, it's Trametes Versicolor, also known as rainbow bracket or turkey tail. It's not poisonous, but it's not at all tasty.

Today's first feature in near continuous deluge was "Next" with Nicholas Cage, Julianne Moore and Jessica Biel.

                https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435705/

It was rather good and is taken (in essence) from "The Golden Man" by P. K. Dick.

Today's 2nd feature is "London has Fallen" with Gerrard Butler and Morgan "The Voice of God" Freeman.

                https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3300542/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Much the same as Olympus has Fallen but with different scum.

                I really enjoyed that.

You can't beat a good old shoot 'em up now & again.
