Knackered now.
Weeds cleared off the path near the house, upset the little toads.
Weeds cleared off part of the "patio*".
The grass/moss encroaching on the rest of the garden path hacked back to make it tidy, like.
Weeds cleared from the side of the laundry room, revealing a little orange coloured newt thing and a much large elephant hawk moth caterpillar.
The same area provided a nice crop of about 5 or 6 spuds that had grown from seed that I'd failed to find last year.
Also oiled the wheels on the wheely bin.
*i.e. the area between the laundry room and the tin shed that's got concrete paving covered in windfall apples, weeds, and brambles, with the odd gooseberry bush thrown in for good measure.
Well there's the latest ep of "Elementary" watched, with increasing irritation due to the sky box's decay.
This evening's cinematic epic was "The Departed" with Matt Damon, Leonardo di Caprio, Mark Wahlberg and Jack "here's Johnny" Nicholson.
It was extremely bloody and violent.
Directed by Martin Scorsese.
Set in Boston so they could all be Irish American hoods instead of Italian American.
A bit like what was done by Sergio Leone with "Once upon a time in America" with Jewish American hoods.
It was 2hrs 25 minutes long.
"Once upon a time in America" is 3hrs 49mins.
I must watch it again sometime.
Now watching "Top Gun" which is all about automatic rifles, starting with the BAR.
