unfortunately due to external factors I have been failing in my diary.
Today
Breakfast - bacon sarnie
Lunch - Steak slice
Dinner - Chicken Kiev + veg
I have been binge watching 12 Monkeys and it was pretty good.
Tonight's movie was Man Up with Simon Pegg, surprisingly good.
sex rating theory! Obviously NSFW - sorry!

I spent absolutely ages dithering over what to watch tonight, with many of my choices being things that turned out not to have been watched before because of lack of subtitles, before finally settling down to a rewatch of I, Robot (2004). Very good indeed, despite the obvious nonsense about computer science and stuff.
That reminded me that the IMDb "Goofs" page for All Is Lost, which I watched the other night, is full of yachtsmen scoffing that no yachtsman would do that, he'd have this bit of kit, that bit of the boat wouldn't work like that. DO THEY HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THOSE OF US WHO KNOW ABOUT COMPUTERS AND THE INTERNET HAVE BEEN PUTTING UP WITH FOR YEARS? Seriously, people, just be glad that when somebody finally made a film about stuff you like, it was one of the best films that's ever been made, and stop whining. It's a story, not a How To Yacht tutorial
Goodnight all

16.7 in the laundry room overnight, currently 18.1, with the living room reaching the dizzy heights of 20.1 again.
Grey out with some wan sunshine and no perceptible precipitation.
I think I'll clear up the windfall apples again today. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Kind of hot n muggy up here today.
Not overly pleasant.
Also seems like everyone else is on holiday so it's real quiet.
And I left my phone in my car which meant I had to walk back to the carpark so I got even more sweaty.
and now I m having to deal with some half wit
oh well
soon be Friday.

I have just placed an order with CPC.
I was impressed that a) they still let you order over the phone and b) my account was still live after a fair number of years of disuse.
I'll be even more impressed if & when it turns up.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Morning denizens
Grey to the east, rather Simpsonesque to the west. But, most importantly, not too hot
