One wonders quite what it is about Sunday mornings that wakes one up at 05:16 so one may listen to the shipping forecast.

Ran out of white cabbage so had to make an unusually early trip down to Morrisons.
Naturally enough, cabbage was augmented with a variety of other comestibles.
And I noticed that the swifts/swallows/housemartins were busily screaming their way across the sky a little earlier.
And in a curious freezer error, what allegedly was lamb turned out to be beef once it defrosted.
This has upset things since there's a stuffed lamb's heart in with it.
Ho very hum.
I see the gunbanner is on desert island discs.
I bet the NRA love him.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 13 May 2018, 10:44.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Inaugural "Fleet Flyer" today - cycle club event to raise money for Transplant Sport and Royal Berks cancer unit.
Great success - over 350 riders on three routes, and beautiful weather for it.
But the point of this post is that one of the riders had a bamboo bikeComment
