    Petrol station lunch day

Exceedingly warm and sunny out there today

Stone me, I could have done with a duffel coat.

One's lunch today also included a Morrisons pork pie.

It was succulent, just like yesterday's was.

      Most toothsome.
I was just looking at the band of rain heading your way on the weather radar

        Thanks.

From the looks of the sky it won't be long before it arrives.

        Glad I brought a brolly.

Last evening's televisual feast was "Crossfire" a.k.a. "Freelancers", with Bob De Niro (the and was a giveaway really), 50 cent, Forrest Whitaker etc.

        I didn't like it much.

Haven't watched the 24 minutes of deleted scenes yet, which probably explain stuff rather more than the 93 minutes of film did.

        The rain has arrived.

And seems to have have gone away again.

        When the fun stops, STOP.

          At the hotel

Not a bad run down. I stopped off at a nearby Asda to pick up a cheap pair of trainers, as the driving moccasins I wear to ClientCo aren’t really suitable for a trip up to Highbury on the Tube, and I forgot to pack any other shoes

                Awesome Rutles gig

Had a catch-up with John (aka Barry Wom) at the end, and even had a selfie with him and Neil Innes; though as it was taken by a young lady who worked at the venue and whose job involves doing this, it isn’t really a selfie, just a photo with me in it

No spoilers - I’m thinking of watching the first three seasons again before watching the new one

My hotel room is in an amazing position on the corner of the hotel, with DLR trains going past about twenty feet away and the City Airport a few hundred yards beyond. I’ll try to get a photo of both in action in the morning

There’s a TripAdvisor review in which somebody recommends not getting this particular room
