Also delivered: a new hardback edition of Aleister Crowley's Diary of a Drug Fiend, also containing Moonchild, Household Gods, The Book of Lies, The Book of the Law, and White Stains
I believe Crowley's works came out of copyright this year, presumably explaining why somebody thought it worthwhile to republish a compendium of some of his most significant books; to the extent that his output has any significance whatsoever

To the Chinese for dinner
And whilst eating, I watched some of the BBC's Ambulance, in which the people of the West Midlands were celebrating New Year by stabbing each other a lot, or just falling over unaidedComment

It's currently showing on "Movies4Men".
This evening's 2nd feature was "BSOD" S5E1 of "Person of Interest".
It was good, if not brilliant.
I remember the angst of wondering when or even if 5 would show S5.
A bit like what 5 are doing with S3 of NCIS NO at the moment. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

We (sunday friendly team) may have come second against a Saturday league team, but coming second isn’t always bad.

I think that's the first & only time I've used the term "dude".
This evening's first feature was "7 seconds" with Wesley Snipes and Tamsin Outhwaite:: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417395/
It was ok in a "I only paid 33p for this " sort of way.
Made Blade II look like "Citizen Kane" though.
Followed by "Robin and Marian" with Sean Connery, Audrey Hepburn, Bob Shaw, and Nichole Williamson.

Ms Hepburn was luminously lovely in it.
yep its a bit formulaic but enjoyable.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

Goodnight all
Was very upset when the sparkies nicked all the cfls from the Strangelove parents' house.
Note to self: if you stuff yourself with assorted crap filled with sugar and fat, you may well regret it later.
Specifically at 00:45 this morning with a spectacular technicolour yawn.
Ho hum.
I did wonder for a while if it was the dreaded noro, but I think it was just unaccustomed overindulgence.
Bread and water today.
In other news, it transpires that the return of Saga in "The Bridge" is to be broadcast to the masses on BBC2 (!) on Friday at 21:00.
Shocked barely covers it.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 7 May 2018, 12:38.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Clear blue skies and a nice warm walk earlier.
Now watching one computer tell me it needs another 35 minutes to complete installs while the ClientCo one is running OK.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
