Aaaaagh! Volunteered to be a moderator on my local Freecycle group a few days ago, assuming I would be one of several and, after moderating just two test posts, suddenly find I am the group LEAD moderator. Lots of cockups to come I fear.

Fancy a job here? The pay’s not s good and the only test is if you can manage not to disable the other moderator accounts in the first 12 hours of doing he job.

Think of the power! Deciding if to ban based on the roll of a die. Changing posts from "I have a bed to recycle" to "I love xoggoth".

Best of all, think of the pay. Mod positions are always highly paid. Unless the admin has blackmail material on them.

PS if you follow my advice you may end up being sacked faster than MF....

Good luck to NF today. Though I did hack the hospital and saw the report to be handed to him today: -

"MrFitz has 24 hours to live. Unless he gives up alcohol and red meat. And does 3 hours of vigorous exercise a week. And organizes the next CUK meet up(*)".
