This evening's first feature was "The Man Who Knew Too Much": James Stewart, Doris Day, 1956: Alfred Hitchcock.

The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) - IMDb

It was ok once it got out of Morocco.

In the bonus there was a trail for "The Trouble with Harry", 1955, which I don't think I've ever heard of.

It was Shirley MacLaine's first film, some 30 odd years before "Postcards from the Edge".

And up we get after another glorious night's sleep.

This is earlier than when I'm getting up to go to "work".

Either it's raining or it's very heavy dew out there at the moment.

            Morning denizens

Nice golden dawn today (usual "not the Greek fascists or the Victorian magicians" disclaimer applies)

We're at that stage where it's dark enough to have to put the light on when I get up, but light enough to turn it off again once I've showered and got coffee.

Still got the light on here, but the "dew" is still falling & I can't see the other side of the valley, boyo.

I saw that book being talked about on Twitter earlier, though I don't think I saw the Brainpickings link. Was that how you found it?
Someone posted it on facebook. I have a friend who has a collection of typewriters (as you do).

She runs a bookshop though, so presumably places them strategically around the place. I guess that also means she can business expense her collection

To amuse myself I googled her bookshop (I haven't been - it's in Derry) and found these pics featuring a typewriter or two

It looks like a nice place

So, how best to realise the value in a Georgian chest of drawers that's too big for ZeityTowers and similar things sell for thousands hundreds.
