Weather forecast was rain for the cycle. It was dry - though wet on the ground from overnight.

2 minutes into the cycle it started raining.

          In with the hoi polloi.

Today's saucepan of lentil <pfffft> soup is simmering (I hope) on the hob at home.

          On which happy note:

            Afternoon all

I'm in euroland this week having been here since Monday evening and travelling back this afternoon. My luggage arrived today and I told them yesterday that it needed to be shipped back to chez pondy in blighty.

Who is going to make it back home first I wonder?

My money is on your luggage. A quick call to border control has made sure I'm going to win this one

So you're hoping that the competency of UK immigration is greater than the incompetency of KLM? Given KLMs track record this week I'm still hopeful.

KLM aren't on the look out for a shady character packing bad taste shirts after an anonymous tip off though.

Had a sausage and rasher of bacon in the fridge that needed to be finished off, so those in a sandwich with a bag of plain crisps constitutes today's lunch
