So there we are, "Pelham 123" (2009) with Washington et al duly watched.

It was rather better than the reviews on IMDB suggested.

It got even better when Tony Scott got the fecking cameramanperson to stop shaking the camera around as if he was drunk, presumably with the intention of giving the audience motion sickness.

I then started hunting for the collector's edition of "Blade Runner" only to discover that I'd given the fecking thing away by mistake.

    By an expensive mistake.

I had, however, retained the 2 dvd version that I bought first.

    Ho fecking hum.

I duly watched the bits I wanted to watch.

    Pissed off now.

This means I don't have the workprint anymore.

I, too, joined in with what appears to have become The Taking of Pelham 123 Day on TPD by watching the more recent version - well, most recent, if we count the made-for-TV-movie one. I'm not sure it added a huge amount to the original, but it was good

And this was followed by another episode of Wallander: Bröderna. It was also good, though it reminded me that I still haven't got around to learning Swedish

      Goodnight all

          Grey.

          Drizzly.

          Warm.

          And that's just the weather.

Very disturbed night's sleep worrying about the loss of my collector's edition "Brade Lunner" dvds.

I suppose I'll get over it.

                  In with the hoi polloi.

And now, in a minute or so, out in the fresh air.

There was a nut hatch looking for peanuts this morning.

I felt quite sorry for it.
