Funny thing - I caught up with my first permie line manager a few months ago who had taken VR from The Bank and retired. He was glad to get out as under an initiative called 'widening the pipe', they had decided to offshore the business.

The rain arrived in the environs of ClientCo just around the time I left. It then got steadily worse as I headed west, culminating in a trip up the M1 through absolutely terrible spray
The rain then stopped as soon as I got home

So you got home without getting wet.
It was dry for 99% of my trip home, then started drizzling when I got to the post office.
Didn't get very wet though.
The fish supper has been consumed.
I'm on a diet so it was one piece of breaded M&S haddock this evening.Comment
