In early December the top oven/grill on our electric oven went bang - I'm guessing internal fuse or the grill element is broken.
Yesterday the tumble dryer stopped working. Light still on in the drum, but all the control panel lights are out.
Phoned the shop I got the tumble dryer from - they don't do repairs, but recommended another guy. Phoned him.
You could hear the sharp intake of breath as soon as I said two items...…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Afternoon denizens
Overcast out there, and not exactly warm either
According to this calorie counting app (for I am following, or intending to follow, the Love Mitten's advice as posted in Monday Links) I should be more overweight than I've ever been within a couple of weeks if every day is like yesterday
I suppose I need to look into the notion of getting more exercise than is afforded by pottering between the armchair and the kitchenComment
