Morning - just to let you know that Williams surgery was successful. We had a bit of a moment on Tuesday afternoon where his blood pressure dropped off a cliff and they had to re-enter his chest to sort out a bleed - fortunately they caught it all in time and his heart never stopped beating and his oxygen reserves remained sufficient. Aged me and his mum by a decade or so, though!
He's really improved rapidly ever since, though and he's now been transferred out of Intensive Care back up to High Dependency until they're happy to let him out. He's awake and alert now and it doesn't seem to have phased him particularly!
