The great thing is that the code I've just written is in the latter class not because the code is difficult (its stupidly simple 10 lines long) but because the consequences of using it incorrectly could utterly screw you....

Not quite but used incorrectly it can perform the equivalent of

sudo rm -rf /; or format c: or drop table user;

and there is no safety check built in to stop them doing that....
